Driven by Compassion for Helping People
Paralegal Shelly Statham is a Detroit native and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has been at Mazaheri Law Firm since 2017 where her role involves being our office paralegal, receptionist, gatekeeper, and the official office “encourager.” Through experience and a realization that “nothing worth having comes easy,” Shelly has a deep appreciation for the hard work and commitment involved in each client’s case. As such, she tailors her approach to each client’s specific needs providing dependable, open-minded, and trustworthy service. She enjoys adoption and employment law cases and getting to work with such talented and brilliant minds every day.
Education and Honors
Shelly began her education as a student at the University of Oklahoma, but after some life experience and career focus, she decided her true passion was for helping people work through the law and decided to enter Paralegal Studies. Shelly proved her passion to be true and rewarding, graduating with honors with an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Paralegal Studies from Rose State College and as a member of the International Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa.
Although Shelly is known for being compassionate to clients, her true loves are centered around God, family, and friends. One of her most proud accomplishments is the time she dedicated as a single parent to raising her daughter and now, to her grand babies. Her involvement in their growth has kept her fun loving, positive, and always compassionate toward people, particularly those going through hardships. It's pretty safe to say that she has found her calling as a Paralegal.
Shelly is well loved at our office providing compassion to clients that need support, positivism in the office, and offering no-nonsense assistance when needed.
