  • Defended unemployment claims by writing denial letters and appeals before the OESC

  • Lead counsel in DWI and assault with family violence jury trial, Chair in felony evading trial, a habitually enhanced aggravated robbery trial, federal unlawful possession of a firearm trial, and two aggravated sexual assault trials
  • Second chair on a two-week murder trial and contacted and conducted interviews with approximately forty witnesses, and reviewed all of the evidence, and prepared direct and cross-examination in addition to overall defense strategies for trial
  • Argued commitment and enforcement hearings regarding delinquent child support
  • Assisted felony prosecutors in the special victims' unit and interviewed victims and witnesses in preparation for trial
  • Argued revocation hearings, and preliminary hearings, and took pleas for the State of Oklahoma
  • Wrote summary opinions for the Court of Criminal Appeals in Oklahoma City
  • Reviewed Petitions for Discretionary Review, Applications for Writs of Habeas Corpus, and Appellate Briefs submitted to the court of criminal appeals for review
